On 10 December 2025, the new Bus Terminal at Catania Airport will officially open in the renovated west area of the airport (formerly P2): a completely redesigned hub offering travellers a simpler, more convenient and faster travel experience.

The new infrastructure features spacious and welcoming areas, optimised routes and a bus stop layout designed to make every transfer smoother.

All public transport lines, including SAIS Autolinee connections, will use the new Bus Terminal, where ticket offices will also be located, now grouped together in a single central area that is easily accessible to all passengers.

The new Bus Terminal marks a significant step forward in improving the accessibility and efficiency of transport services at the airport, offering arrivals and departures a more modern, orderly and functional environment.
