Where can I buy a ticket?

You can buy it online on this site, through the SAIS Autolinee app, by calling our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or going to an authorized retailer.

Can I change the scheduled departure date and time on my ticket?

Yes. Only before the scheduled departure time, after which, the ticket will be lost. On Sicily TPL Lines on the same-day round trip ticket, which includes a promotion, it is only allowed to change the schedule. A change of date is not allowed.

How can I change the scheduled departure date and time on my ticket?

If you are a registered user, you can independently manage your trip from your personal area. If you are not a registered user you can call our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or go to an authorized retailer.

Can I change the route on my ticket?

No. You can't change the route, but:

• if you are a registered user, you can cancel your ticket from your personal area and book a trip more suited to your new needs;

• if you are not a registered user, you can call our Customer Service at 091 2776999 who will issue a coupon allowing you to book your new trip.

Can I buy a ticket on board the bus?

Yes. If strictly necessary and in the presence of places available. To guarantee your seat, we recommend that you buy it in advance online on this site, through the SAIS Autolinee app, by calling our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or going to an authorized retailer.

Do I need to print my ticket?

No. You can also show it electronically.

What is the SAIS Autolinee identification card and what is it for?

The card, issued by SAIS Autolinee, identifies the passenger, allowing them to purchase bus passes.

Which identification cards are provided by SAIS Autolinee?

How can I request the SAIS Autolinee identification card?

Register on this site and request your SAIS Autolinee identification card from your personal area. The card, free and valid for two years, will be activated and sent to your e-mail within three working days

How can I request the renewal of my Autolinee SAIS identification card?

You can request the renewal of your card, from your personal area, starting three months before its natural expiry date. The card will be renewed within three working days and you can view it in the personal area.

Is it necessary to print the SAIS Autolinee identification card?

No. You can also show it electronically.

What bus passes are available at SAIS Autolinee?

SAIS Autolinee offers different types of bus passes based on the needs of its passengers and the type of service offered:

Sicily TPL Lines

Below, in detail, the current types of bus passes adopted on our Sicily TPL Lines.

Weekly Bus Pass: this type of bus pass allows passengers to use the services offered on the route purchased for an entire week, considering Monday as the starting day of validity and Sunday as the end. It is possible to make a maximum number of 10 or 12 trips, depending on the type chosen at the time of purchase. A maximum of one round trip and one return trip is allowed per day.

Monthly Bus Pass: similar to the weekly bus pass, but valid for the entire calendar month. It is possible to make a maximum number of 40, 50 or 60 trips, depending on the type chosen at the time of purchase. A maximum of one round trip and one return trip is allowed per day.

Quarterly Bus Pass: this type of bus pass allows you to make a maximum number of 10 trips, one round trip and one return per day, within 90 days from the effective date.

Annual Bus Pass: this type of bus pass, valid for one year from the date of issue, allows on-board access on all lines of the urban network without limits on the number of trips.

Monthly Bus Pass: this type of bus pass, valid for the entire calendar month, allows passengers access on board on all lines of the urban network, with the exception of line 4, without limits on the number of trips that can be made. There is also a dedicated rate for Under 20 and Over 65.

Quarterly Bus Pass: this type of bus pass, valid for 3 calendar months, allows on-board access on all lines of the urban network, with the exception of line 4, without limits on the number of trips. There is also a dedicated rate for Under 20 and Over 65.

Under 20 Bus Pass valid 01/09 | 30.06: this type of bus pass, valid from September 01 to June 30, is reserved exclusively for Under 20. It allows on-board access on all lines of the urban network, with the exception of line 4, without limits on the number of trips.

Where can I buy a bus pass?

You can purchase it, upon request and issue of the SAIS Autolinee identification card, online on this site, through the SAIS Autolinee app, by calling our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or going to an authorized retailer.

How can I book a trip with my bus pass?

On Sicily TPL Lines, you can book by accessing your personal area from the SAIS Autolinee App, by calling our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or going to an authorized retailer.

Can I change the scheduled departure date and time on my bus pass booking?

Yes. It is allowed to change, unlimited times, the time and/or date of the trip, but only before the scheduled departure time, after which, the ticket will be lost.

How can I change the scheduled departure date and time on my bus pass booking?

You can change it by accessing your personal area, through the SAIS Autolinee app, by calling our Customer Service at 091 2776999 or going to an authorized retailer. The change will assign new data to the QR Code on the same, so the reservation you have can be used for on-board access.

The driver, if strictly necessary, can make the change during check-in, allowing, only in the presence of available seats, access on board. It is therefore advisable to do it in advance.

Do I need to print my buss pass

No. You can also show it electronically.

Refunds

The refund of your bus ticket or pass, if due, will be recognized to you in accordance with our conditions of transport.

If you are a registered user, you can do it yourself from your personal area or from the SAIS Autolinee App.

If you are not a registered user fill out the form to provide us with all the useful data and details of your trip.

Complaints

If you are not happy with any aspect of our services, we would be happy to hear your opinion, in order to make your next trip more comfortable.

Invoices

You can request the invoice at the same time as the purchase or before midnight on the same day. The invoice request received after this deadline cannot, for tax reasons, be processed.

The invoice will be sent, within 12 days, in electronic format to the SdI, PEC or to the e-mail address provided by the passenger.

Childrens

Dedicated rates, minor unaccompanied trips.

Is there a discount for children?

Yes. There is a dedicated rate for children from 0 to 10 years old on Sicily TPL Lines And on National lines. Sulle Sicily City Lines, on the other hand, children under 4 years old travel free of charge if accompanied by a traveler with a valid and regular travel document.

Can unaccompanied minors travel?

Yes. Minors under the age of Between 14 and 17 years old they can travel unaccompanied only if they have the authorization issued by the parent/guardian accompanied by a copy of the latter's identity document. Unaccompanied minors will not be allowed to travel without the form completed in its entirety and accompanied by a copy of the parent/guardian's identity document. The crew on board may require the passenger to show a valid identity document.

Download here the authorization to be presented completed in all its fields to the driver. Children under 14, on the other hand, can travel only if accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Animal Transport

Can I bring a pet on board?

Yes. On Sicily TPL Lines and on National Lines you can carry, upon payment of the relevant ticket, small live pets (one for each passenger) and weighing no more than 10 kg, compulsorily equipped with a health record, with the exception of guide dogs accompanied by blind passengers for whom the Law of 14 February 1974, n. 37 establishes that “the visually impaired person has the right to be accompanied by his guide dog on his trips on any means of public transport, without having to pay any ticket or surcharge for the animal”.

With the exception of guide dogs for blind passengers, animals must be placed in a special carrier (cm L30 H30 D40) to be placed on the floor, corresponding to the seat purchased for the animal, so as not to hinder the normal passage of other passengers.

On Sicily City Lines: you can carry small and medium-sized dogs free of charge as long as they are equipped with a leash and muzzle in a basket and in adequate hygiene conditions. Even cats and other small pets can travel for free as long as they are in a special carrier.

Baggage

Quantity and types.

How much luggage can I carry?

You can carry free hand luggage with a maximum size of 40x30x15 cm and weighing no more than 5 kg to be placed in the appropriate hat box inside the bus.

You are also entitled to the free transport of an additional piece of luggage with a maximum size of 140 cm (length + depth + width) and weighing not more than 20 kg to be placed in the appropriate luggage compartment; only for the Sicily-Puglia service, two pieces of luggage with a maximum size of 140 cm (length + depth + width) and weighing no more than 12 kg are allowed.

On National Lines we can accept additional luggage, if space is available in the appropriate compartment and upon payment on board of a supplement as per the rates in use by traveling personnel.

Can I carry a scooter or a bicycle?

Yes.

On Sicily City Lines: scooters can be carried on board buses, as long as they are folded and securely guarded by the passenger for the entire duration of the trip. Bicycles are not allowed to be transported.

On Sicily TPL Lines: scooters and bicycles can be transported free of charge in the luggage compartment of the bus, as long as they are folded. It is also necessary to remove the battery and keep it on board.

On National Lines: scooters and bicycles can be transported in the luggage compartment of the bus, as long as they are folded and upon payment to the on-board staff of a supplement of 15.00 euros. It is also necessary to remove the battery and keep it on board.

Can I send a bag or a package?

No. Shipping of any kind is not allowed.

What will I find on board the buses?

On Sicily TPL Lines and National Lines on board of our buses you can find:

Reclining seats, with armrest and adjustable footrest, extendable laterally to increase the comfort of your trip;
Air conditioning;
Free Wi-Fi;
Power outlets (220 V);
Toilet;
Reading lights.

Are there intermediate stops or breaks for refreshment? If so, only during long trips?

On Sicily TPL Lines, there are no breaks for refreshment. On National Lines there are short scheduled stops for refreshment, which also allow for compliance with the driving and rest times of the crew on board.

Will I always find Wi-Fi and electrical outlets available on board?

Yes. You can connect to on-board Wi-Fi for free by using your travel time to navigate and recharge your devices.

Is it possible to eat on board the bus?

Yes. We want you to be at ease during your trip, so on our buses you can eat and drink with respect for other passengers, taking care to avoid intensely smelling foods and leave your seat as you would like to find it. On the bus you will find waste bins.

How long before do I have to show up at the bus stop?

Our buses travel on scheduled itineraries and are therefore tied to fixed times, so we ask you to arrive at the bus stop at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. In case of absence at the time of departure, the transport contract will be considered automatically terminated, without any right to a refund of the amount paid.

Can I get on or off at a different stop than the one on my ticket?

No. Your ticket is valid only at the reserved stopping points, you are not allowed to get on or off at different stops.
